Comprehensive Dentistry

Course Description: Alternative dentistry is an approach to dentistry that emphasizes improving health rather than treating disease. This approach to dentistry incorporates both modern science and wisdom derived from global traditions of natural healing. It is sometimes referred to as biological dentistry or bio-compatible dentistry. Alternative dentistry addresses the patient's mind, body, and spirit, not just their teeth.

Objectives of the course :

By the end of this course, the student should be able to:
• Understanding proper nutrition that prevents degenerative dental diseases.
• Avoid and remove toxins from dental materials.
• Prevention and treatment of malocclusion (bite problems - skeletal imbalance).

Course outputs :

Prevention and treatment of gum disease at its biological foundations.
Understand the differences between the first two medical theories: allopathic (conventional) medicine and naturopathic (alternative or complementary medicine - CAM). The conventional type focuses on treating the disease, while there is an older system that focuses on the natural system to treat the cause of the disease to restore health.
• Provide scientific rules for alternative medicine such as: Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Chelation, and Orientational Medicine.
