Course description : 1. The idea of problem-based learning will be discussed at the beginning of the course to illustrate its application in dental practice 2. The course is designed to review dental history and provide students with the basic rules and elements of dental terminology, including word roots, prefixes, suffixes and combined terms, students will be able to analyze, spell, pronounce and construct dental terminology according to word parts and description 3. In order to improve the student's dental knowledge, many medical and dental terms are introduced using computer and internet exercises 4. The course includes medical ethics so that the dentist is able to know his duties and rights towards his profession and be able to make decisions 5. The course contains a practical scheme of active and passive communication to provide guidance on how to communicate and deal daily in practical situations with interactive workshops 6. The ability to communicate information clearly and concisely to different listeners is a key quality in a good doctor and poor communication can lead to patient dissatisfaction and the breakdown of the doctor-patient relationship, in addition to complaints.
