Issues and Problems in General Education Curriculum and Instruction

Course Description: The course addresses issues and problems related to curricula in the Kingdom. It identifies problems in curriculum teaching. It compares between in-class and extracurricular activities. It evaluates curriculum development projects, their implementation methods, and their evaluation.
Credit hours: 3
Objectives of the course :

The aim of the course is to help the student to:
1- Recognizes some issues related to learning outcomes and the measurement of their results.
2- Identifies some problems related to gifted education.
3. Recognize certain issues and problems related to the hidden curriculum.
4. It compares some issues related to in-class and extracurricular activities.
5 - Refutes some issues and problems related to curriculum evaluation.
6. Proposes solutions to problems in a developed curriculum.
7. It monitors some global curriculum experiences and benefits from them to address some curriculum problems in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
