Course Description: This course focuses on the latest strategies and theories in teaching social studies. It covers: ethical thinking and values teaching, social constructivism, multiple intelligences, instructional design, and the use of computers in teaching social studies. It also includes skills for planning lessons based on classroom and computer methods for gifted students and students with learning disabilities, and planning lessons to develop values through social studies content.
