Course Description: The course covers the following topics: • Preparing a research plan in the field of Arabic language teaching. • Reviewing literature and previous studies in the field of language teaching. • Preparing research tools for data collection and content analysis in Arabic language teaching. • Bases for selecting research methodologies in the specialization. • Critiquing and analyzing some research in the field of Arabic language teaching. • Writing the research report.

Objectives of the course :

After studying this course, the student will be able to:
1. Identifying trends in educational research for teaching Arabic.
2. Preparing research plans and their nature in the field of language teaching.
3. Identifying research problems in the field of language teaching in general and Arabic in particular.
4. Analysis and critique of Arab and foreign research in the field of language teaching in general, and Arabic language teaching in particular.
5. Preparing some research tools used in the field of language education.
6. Writing the research report.
