Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
• Recognizes global standards for mathematics instruction.
• Understands the concept of active learning, its strategies, principles, and applications in teaching mathematics.
• Understanding the concept of constructivism, its basic principles, and its application in planning to teach some mathematics topics.
• Differentiates between algebraic and geometric thinking.
Integrates technology into mathematics teaching.
