Objectives of the course :

The aim of teaching this course is to help the student to:
• Recognizes the relationship between curricula and societal issues and problems.
• Defines the dimensions of the water issue and how to address it in curricula.
• Clarifies the dimensions of the environmental pollution issue and the role of curricula in addressing it.
The role of curricula in presenting the dimensions of the desertification issue is highlighted.
Recognizes the seriousness of the issue of intellectual extremism and the role of curriculum in confronting it.
It shows the different approaches curricula take to address societal issues and problems.
