Course Description: The course "Communication Theories" presents the intellectual and philosophical backgrounds upon which communication and media theories were founded, and their historical development in various contexts. The course addresses the theoretical and applied foundations of these theories to explain how information is transmitted, to interpret messages and media content, and the impact of media in shaping public opinion on various issues.
