Course Description: This course examines the interactive relationship between media and society, focusing on the study of media's impact on social values, cultures, and behaviors. It also reviews the role of media in shaping public opinion and addressing various social issues. Furthermore, it discusses the positive and negative effects of media on individuals and communities, analyzing the role of media as a tool for social change and development. The course provides a theoretical and analytical framework for understanding the relationship between media and social structures in local, regional, and international contexts.

Objectives of the course :

The main objective of this course is to enable students to understand the dynamic relationship between media and society, and to analyze the role of media in shaping attitudes towards various social and cultural issues. The course also seeks to develop students' abilities to assess the impact of media on societal behaviors and values, and to enhance their awareness of how media is used as a tool for social change and social responsibility.
