Scientific Research Methodology (2)

Course Description: This course is a continuation of the Research Methods 1 course. It uses a step-by-step approach and focuses on three essential steps in the research process: data collection, data analysis, and report writing. The course introduces students to various statistical tests and situations in which they will use each test, how to prepare data analysis, and how to interpret the results. The course provides students with a valuable opportunity to confidently apply statistical tests, interpret their outputs, and present findings graphically.

Objectives of the course :

The principles and basic steps of medical research.
2. Prepare a research proposal that includes appropriate study designs and biostatistical techniques to address a community health problem.
3. Integrate scientific knowledge from reliable sources to formulate research questions in the healthcare field.
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a team to prepare a research proposal in the healthcare field.
5. Demonstrate the ability to apply critical thinking in preparing a research proposal in the healthcare field.
