Scientific Research Methodology (1)

Course Description: Research Methodology (Part I) is a foundational course designed to introduce medical students to the principles, processes, and applications of scientific research in healthcare. This course equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to generate research ideas, formulate precise research questions, design appropriate studies, and critically evaluate scientific evidence. Students will learn how to identify variables, select suitable study designs, apply correct sampling strategies, and understand ethical considerations in research. The course is a longitudinal track spanning seven weeks, utilizing interactive lectures, assignments, and practical exercises to reinforce understanding and practical skills.
