Management and culture

Course Description: This course introduces the cultural component and scientific fields related to the cultural issue (such as cultural sociology, cultural psychology, and cultural anthropology). It examines the development of management thought within a philosophical and economic analysis of culture and the market in light of specificity and globalization. The course also addresses the complex interrelationships between management, culture, religion, economics, and politics, enabling researchers to anticipate the future of Arab management in theory and practice, and to gain a deep understanding of "cross-cultural studies" methodologies. It addresses the impact of culture on management and the reciprocal impact in the Arab business environment, especially Saudi Arabia, and compares it with other cultural environments (such as Chinese, Indian, American, and European). It also covers the management term and the cultural environment, and examines various management topics from a critical comparative cultural perspective.
