Course Description: This course aims to help students gain a deeper understanding of the evolution, concept, and origin of family businesses through field trips, case study analysis, and discussions with family business owners. The course covers a wide range of topics related to family businesses, such as career planning, ethics, governance, succession planning, strategic planning, supportive professional relationships, and the skills needed to survive and work as a son or daughter within a family business. Students will also gain comprehensive insights into the past, present, and future of family businesses, not only in Saudi Arabia but globally as well.
