Course Description: This course focuses on the managerial challenges associated with the stages of new product development, from idea generation and product launch to commercialization and eventual discontinuation or withdrawal from the market. The course also aims to equip students with the ability to make effective managerial decisions at each of these stages.

Objectives of the course :

By the end of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Understand the fundamentals of product development strategy.
2. Identify the different stages of the product lifecycle.
3. Applying product management concepts to identify the root causes of product failure, despite significant investments and high product quality.
4. Understanding how to develop, evaluate, and test new product ideas.
