Development and training

Course Description: This course covers the theoretical information necessary for planning, implementing, and evaluating training operations within an organization. The course focuses on the practical foundations for identifying training needs, how to select appropriate training content, and also clarifies the most important methods for measuring the return on investment in management training.
Credit hours: 3
Prerequisites: BUS 111
Objectives of the course :

This course aims to provide students with the cognitive aspects of training so that they are able to define the training process, explain and summarize the organizational aspects related to training. It also aims to develop students' written communication skills, foster the values of teamwork, and equip them with the competence to distinguish between ethical issues and situations related to the field of training.

Explains the concept of training, its importance, and the factors driving training
It explains the steps of designing a training program.
Identifies the training needs required for the organization.
Lists training types and levels, training programs, training means and aids, and presentation and delivery skills.
