Computer Applications in Business Management

Course Description: This course reviews the principles, steps, and methods of scientific research and its role in organizational decision-making. It also explains types of variables, measurement tools, and their levels, different types of random and non-random samples, and the use of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) in scientific research. It demonstrates how to perform statistical tests and clarifies how to present and interpret reports of statistical analysis results to make appropriate decisions in solving research problems.

Objectives of the course :

This course aims to equip students with the ability to define and explain the main principles, steps, and methodologies of scientific research, as well as its importance. It will enhance their ability to analyze research variables and their measurement tools, and test research hypotheses through practical application. Additionally, it will develop their skills in writing statistical results reports and in using computer applications in business management.

Explains the main principles of scientific research, its steps, methods, and its importance in organizational decision-making.
Analyzes different types of variables, measurement tools, and their levels.
Analyzes different types of random and non-random samples.
Recognizes statistical tests for data and justifies their use.
