Course Description: This course aims to introduce students to the basic concepts of water and wastewater; the importance and strategies of water and wastewater; and current challenges in the field of water and wastewater at the national and global levels.
Credit hours: 3
Objectives of the course :

1. Understanding the importance of water and sanitation for individual and community health.
2. Understanding the challenges communities face in accessing safe drinking water.
3. Identifying practical approaches to solve water and sanitation problems for building healthy communities.
4. Understanding the importance of improving water, sanitation, and hygiene in emergencies.
5. Analysis of Water and Wastewater Challenges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

• Identifying practical methods for solving water and sanitation problems for the development of healthy communities.
