Course Description: This course offers students opportunities to enhance their knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the field of mental health sciences. - Understanding the theory, principles, and applications of mental health sciences, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). - Students will gain proficiency in CBT, and based on the certificate they will receive upon completion of the course, they will be able to practice professionally in this field.

Objectives of the course :

1. Assess and diagnose clients with diverse problems according to the highest standards of clinical competence, in line with recognized current best practices in cognitive behavioral therapy, and more broadly in mental health sciences.
Conducting research in the field of mental health sciences and understanding the scientific principles of preparing and writing reports.
3. Enhance students' knowledge of basic mental health concepts.
4. The ability to identify mental health problems in a timely manner.
5. The ability to understand and identify basic concepts, terms, and definitions in the field of mental health.

• Describe, understand, and identify key concepts, terms, and definitions in the field of mental health. Illnesses/disorders and their causes, risk factors and predisposing factors, community intervention, and prevention and control.
• Applying and practicing essential skills related to the prevention and management of mental disorders in the community.
