Course Description: The Essentials of Health Education and Health Promotion course is designed to provide public health bachelor's students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts, principles, and practices related to health education and health promotion. Equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote and protect good health at the individual, community, and population levels.

Prerequisites: BPH 212
Objectives of the course :

Critically discuss the historical development of health education and health promotion.
2. Assessing health education and health promotion needs and priorities.
3. Identifying and evaluating appropriate information for health education and promotion, along with scientific evidence in this field.
4. Review and analyze the obstacles facing health education and health promotion practices.
5. Critically identify and evaluate health education and health promotion strategies and projects.
