Advanced Medicinal and Economic Plants

Course Description: This course covers the study of medicinal and economic plants in terms of their morphological structure, classification, and chemical constituents, as well as their importance in medical, industrial, and agricultural fields. It also focuses on methods for extracting plant compounds, analyzing plant products such as essential oils, fibers, grains, and legumes, in addition to evaluating commercial uses and sustainability.

Objectives of the course :

Developing students' skills in analyzing and utilizing medicinal and economic plant resources, and applying extraction and industrial evaluation techniques.
