Advanced Molecular Genetics

Course Description: This course covers the molecular structure and functions of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), their replication, transcription, and translation mechanisms, and the regulation of gene expression in prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms. It also covers mutations, DNA repair mechanisms, recombination, as well as applications of genetic engineering, molecular biological tools, and bioinformatics.

Developing an advanced understanding of the molecular processes of heredity and applying biotechnology techniques in the analysis and study of genetic material.
