Advanced cytological inheritance

Course Description: This course covers the study of cytogenetics in terms of chromosome structure in eukaryotic and prokaryotic organisms, mechanisms of cell division, and chromosomal abnormalities. It also covers classical and molecular techniques such as karyotyping and FISH, in addition to the study of epigenetics and its applications in health and disease.
Credit hours: 3

Develop advanced understanding of chromosome structure and function and apply modern techniques in the analysis of genetic disorders.
