Course Description: This course aims to provide students with an advanced understanding of fundamental concepts in biochemistry, including bioenergetics, thermodynamics, and metabolic pathways. It also covers the structure and function of biomolecules such as carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids, in addition to studying enzymes and their mechanisms of action. The course includes a practical component covering advanced techniques in biomolecular analysis, protein quantification, and separation of biological compounds.

Developing an advanced understanding of biological processes at the molecular level and applying laboratory techniques to analyze biomolecules and enzymes, and correlating them with pathological conditions.
