Critical approaches and issues

Course Description: This course traces these approaches in Western thought and reveals how Arab critics in the Arab world in general, and in Saudi Arabia in particular, have received these approaches, and the extent to which they have been represented and utilized in the analysis of literary texts. It focuses on the practical aspect that allows the student to practice practical criticism and use these approaches in engaging with various types of literary texts.
