Course Description: The course deals with discourse analysis theoretically and practically, along with related basic concepts such as text, context, textual cohesion and its tools, formal consistency, pragmatic dimensions, and modern schools in discourse analysis.

This course aims to enable students to understand discourse analysis theories, their concepts, and terminology. It will cover how discourse analysis relates to and differs from other fields of knowledge, explain text linguistics theories, and foster innovative analyses of proposed literary, scientific, legal, and other discourses and texts.
