Course Description: The course deals with discourse analysis theoretically and practically, along with related basic concepts such as text, context, textual cohesion and its tools, formal consistency, pragmatic dimensions, and modern schools in discourse analysis.

Objectives of the course :

This course aims to enable students to understand discourse analysis theories, concepts, and terminology, as well as to infer the connections and distinctions between discourse analysis and other fields of knowledge. It also aims to interpret text linguistics theories and produce innovative analyses of proposed linguistic, scientific, legal, and other discourses and texts.
