Quranic rhetoric

Course Description: This course provides an in-depth study of Quranic rhetoric, including its origins, importance, and prominent works. It establishes scientific knowledge of the rhetorical miraculousness of the Holy Quran, addresses the characteristics of Quranic vocabulary, and the rhetorical structure and composition of sentences. The course also covers skills for discovering and employing rhetorical devices in exegesis, with practical applications for appreciating Quranic rhetoric through the analysis of selected examples.

Objectives of the course :

To acquire systematic applied skills in the study of Qur'anic rhetoric, according to the various rhetorical methods and facets, with a commitment to apply them to the Qur'anic text.

1- To demonstrate a deep understanding of the concept of Quranic rhetoric, its origins, and its importance in the study of Quranic exegesis.
2- To interpret the rhetorical characteristics of the Holy Quran at the level of word and sentence structure.
3. To clarify the modern research methodologies used in the field of Quranic rhetoric and its contemporary issues.
