Course Description: Andalusian Poetry: Its Flourishing, Stages of Development, Themes, Characteristics, and Andalusian Prose, as well as the most prominent figures of poetry and prose during the later eras.

Objectives of the course :

Introducing the student to the most prominent poetic and prose arts through which writers have excelled, highlighting the most important artistic features that distinguished their creativity, in addition to getting acquainted with the most prominent creative figures that this era has featured. .

  • To describe the stages the Arabic poetry movement went through in Andalusia, and in the East after the fall of Baghdad.
  • To mention the poetic and prose arts during this period.
  • To list literary figures and their efforts in literary creativity in this era. .
