Course Description: To equip the student with the skill of constructing grammatically correct Arabic sentences.
Credit hours: 3
Prerequisites: ARAB324
Objectives of the course :

Objectives of the Arabic Grammar 5 course:
- Understanding the grammatical rules related to the chapters of circumstantial clauses (hal), specification (tamyeiz), prepositions (huruf al-jarr), and annexation (idafah), and applying these grammatical rules to a suitable amount of selected texts to master Arabic styles in those chapters through practical application by reading and parsing.

Course outputs :

knowledge:
The student learns about detailed topics and how to use them in linguistic structuring and their precise application.
– The student writes the practical application of all Arabic sentence patterns in the course and the ability to adhere to them.

 

Cognitive skills:
The student learns the patterns of Arabic sentences in any text and retrieves the governing rule for each pattern to reach the correct level in writing.
– Analyzes transformations that occur in Arabic sentences and explains the skill of generating similar sentences.
- To be able to transfer acquired skills to practical application (writing and speaking). .

Interpersonal skills and taking responsibility:
The student is expected to perform duties and submit them on schedule.
– Demonstrates the student's ability to engage in dialogue and discussion.
