Course Description: This course aims to equip students with the skills of correct scientific writing and scientific research, along with their characteristics.

Prerequisites: ARAB109
Objectives of the course :

Equipping the student with correct scientific writing skills and scientific research and their characteristics.

Course outputs :

Knowledge and understanding:

  • The student knows scientific writing.
  • The student should mention punctuation marks and their different functions.
  • To describe the steps a student takes to choose a research topic.
  • The student should mention the different research methods (descriptive, analytical, historical...).

 

Skills:

  • The student writes a scientific research paper.
  • To explain the different research methodologies.
  • The student summarizes the research in the conclusion.
  • The student will be able to collect data from its sources.
  • The student analyzes and interprets research data.
  • The student will practice using different research methodologies (descriptive, analytical, historical, etc.).

Values, autonomy and responsibility:

  • For a student to search within a group of colleagues.
  • The student uses punctuation marks correctly.
  • To explain linguistic and spelling errors in research papers.
  • The student should show a desire to involve other students in the classroom and library to prepare research papers.
