Course Description: An Introduction to Ilm al-Ma'ani in Light of Arabic Rhetoric

Objectives of the course :

.Definition of the essence of imagery, ancient and modern, its divisions, and the discovery of rhetorical arts in texts. This course aims to introduce the student to Arabic rhetoric in an integrated framework. In light of Arabic rhetoric theory, the student will become acquainted with the topics of the science of imagery and its ability to reveal the aesthetic qualities of texts.
