Course Description: To equip the student with the skill of constructing Arabic sentences correctly.
Credit hours: 3
Prerequisites: ARAB124
Objectives of the course :

The goals of the Nahw 2 course are:
1- Introducing the student to a number of Arabic grammar basics, including: - Nominal and verbal sentences in Arabic grammar. - The inversions (nonasikh) in Arabic grammar. - Justifications for starting with an indefinite noun in Arabic grammar. - Types of omission (hathf) in Arabic grammar.
Provide the student with a number of language skills.
Among them: - Differentiating between verbs that change the meaning of sentences (nawāsikh) in terms of accusative and nominative case. - Distinguishing between the subject and predicate in Arabic grammar.
3- Linguistic application of the rules of the subject and predicate, singular and duplicated.

Course outputs :

knowledge:
It covers the structure of nominal sentences and their main elements: the subject (mubtada') and the predicate (khabar), their types, and grammatical rulings. It also covers the types and rulings of the predicate, what affects nominal sentences from literal and verbal corruptors (nawāsikh), their verbal effects on them, and the subtle differences between them in terms of work, meaning, and reality.
- The student will learn about the types of sentences in Arabic grammar.
