Course Description: Care of Pre-Islamic Poetry and Prose

Objectives of the course :

Developing students' literary taste and their analytical reading skills for literary texts, introducing them to the most prominent methods of literary text analysis, and accustoming students to internalizing literary texts and discovering their aesthetic qualities.

Course outputs :

Knowledge and understanding:
To recognize some literary texts from the pre-Islamic era, the early Islamic period, and the Umayyad era. .
– The student will become familiar with the most prominent literary analysis approaches for texts. .

– Be able to analyze literary texts according to literary analysis methodologies. .
