The course aims to equip the student with the skill of soundly constructing Arabic vocabulary and conjugating it according to eloquent Arabic. The Scientific Morphology 1 course has several objectives, including: 1. Introducing the student to word conjugation and identifying original vs. added letters. 2. Providing the student with the skill to recognize verb types in terms of being bare or augmented, sound or weak, and similar classifications. 3. Informing the student on how to emphasize verbs and their conjugation. 4. Equipping the student with the skill to apply this to different words and vocabulary.
Knowledge and understanding:
The student will learn the meaning of morphology, its subject matter, origin, and benefits, and the difference between it and syntax.
The student remembers the morphological balance and what is taken into account in it.
The student will learn the purposes of augmentation, its types, and its positions.
Skills:
The student enumerates the weights of diminutives and weighs a group of Arabic words.
For the student to extract the meanings of additions in Arabic words through texts.
To identify the sound and infirm words among Arabic vocabulary.
Values, autonomy and responsibility:
To share with the group the correct and incorrect verbs.
