Poultry physiology

Course Description: The course aims to introduce the student to the structure, mechanisms, and function of avian body systems (circulatory, digestive, reproductive, excretory, integumentary, and respiratory systems), egg formation, and factors influencing egg and meat production.

Objectives of the course :
  • Understanding the anatomy of poultry physiological systems.
  • Define the functions of each member in each device.
  • Identification of biological anomalies in poultry physiological systems.
Course outputs :

The student will learn the fundamental principles and concepts related to poultry physiology and relevant basic sciences to identify the structure and function of physiological systems.
