Fundamentals of Animal Production

Course Description: An introduction to the importance of animal production globally and in the Kingdom specifically – problems of animal production in the Kingdom – breeds of farm animals and poultry and their classification – care of farm animals and poultry – establishment of farm and poultry farms – principles of nutrition, physiology, and breeding of farm animals and poultry – milk, meat, and egg production – daily and seasonal operations on animal production farms – programs for developing animal production in the Kingdom.

Objectives of the course :

. Providing students with knowledge related to livestock production problems in the Kingdom and ways to solve them.
