Hatching and incubation physiology

Course Description: The course aims to introduce students to the economic importance of bird eggs, along with basic requirements for bird embryos. It explains the main stages of bird embryo development, factors affecting incubation, care of fertilized eggs, and characteristics of hatching egg quality. Factors affecting fertility and hatching, and incubation problems are also covered.

Objectives of the course :

Empower students to develop and evaluate advanced, evidence-based nutrition strategies and data analysis that enhance productive performance, improve feed conversion efficiency, and support economic and health sustainability in commercial poultry projects.

Course outputs :

The student will learn advanced principles and concepts related to poultry egg incubation physiology and related basic sciences to understand the physiological processes during embryonic development.
