Advanced Poultry Physiology

Course Description: The course aims to introduce students to the physiology of molting and feather replacement, the physiology of bone growth and renewal in poultry, the physiology of muscle contraction, the physiology of digestion and absorption, the physiology of urine formation, the physiology of immunity, and the physiology of growth.

Objectives of the course :

Provide students with important physiological processes in poultry and equip them with the following essential skills:
• Knowledge of important poultry physiological processes.
• Identify the functions of each organ in each of the poultry physiological systems.
• Identification of biological abnormalities in poultry physiological systems.

Course outputs :

The student learns advanced principles and concepts related to poultry physiology and related basic sciences to understand physiological processes.
