Farm Animal Physiology

Course Description: This course examines the organs that constitute the various organ systems of animals in terms of their anatomical and histological structure, function, mechanism of action, and the regulatory relationships that link the functions of these systems. It also covers the impact of external and internal factors on these functions. Furthermore, this course aims to provide an advanced understanding of physiological processes in farm animals at the cellular, organ, and systemic levels. The course focuses on understanding functions related to production and reproduction, such as growth, reproduction, milk production, metabolism, and response to environmental stress. It also addresses the latest research trends in physiological regulation within different animal production systems.
