Anatomy (2)

Course Description: This course is designed to provide students with knowledge of the normal structure of the human body, including the head and neck, neuroanatomy, abdomen, and pelvis. The practical aspect of the course reinforces theoretical concepts through the use of models, skeletons, and cadaver dissection demonstrations. This ensures a thorough understanding of anatomical structures relevant to physical therapy practice and the optimal use of a wide range of resources.

Objectives of the course :

1. Providing students with a basic understanding of the structural organization of the human central and peripheral nervous system.
2. Help students gain a comprehensive understanding of head and neck anatomy.
3. Providing students with fundamental knowledge about the normal anatomy of the human body, including the pelvis and abdomen.

Course outputs :

• Definition of the anatomical structure of the head and neck, the nervous system, and the abdomen and pelvis.
• Identifying the different joint movements and the muscles responsible for each movement.
• Linking key clinical applications to anatomical information.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of surface/living anatomy and radiological anatomy of the head, neck, and abdomen.
Apply fundamental knowledge and cognitive skills to solve problems and understand related fields outside the scope of the anatomy course.
• Apply detailed knowledge of cranial nerve neuroanatomy and the anatomical principles underlying cranial nerve injuries.
• Employ clear communication skills with colleagues.
