Course Description: The student will be able to debate and argue scientifically and commendably with opponents, possessing mastery of argumentative methods in discussing those who hold differing views. Learning Outcomes

Objectives of the course :

The student shall deeply and academically root themselves in the concepts, meanings, and old and contemporary applications of dialectics and dialogue.
The student should be familiar with the history of ancient religious discourse and its contemporary extension.
Familiarity with concepts related to argumentation, such as debate, dialogue, and others.
Identifying controversial issues with opponents and methods of addressing them.
Distinguishing between praiseworthy and reprehensible debate.

The student will be introduced to ancient and modern dialectical methodologies and the stance of the Salaf towards them.
