Course Description: - A study of the emergence of Sufism and Sufis, its sources, and its development. - A comprehensive study of theological schools (Mu'tazila, Ash'ari, Maturidi).

Objectives of the course :

Introducing the student to Sufism, Sufis, theological schools of thought, the most important schools and their associated treatises, the manifestations of their deviations, and the stance of the People of the Sunnah and the Community towards them.

Course outputs :

Knowledge and understanding:
1- To know the origins of Sufism, the beliefs of Sufis, and their sects.
2. To understand the concept and history of theological schools of thought and their most important articles of faith.
3. The student should be able to distinguish between Sunni Muslims and Islamic sects, and the differences between them.
Skills:
1- The student will deduce the different impacts of Sufi and theological schools of thought.
2. Students should practice the skills of discussion and dialogue regarding false articles from Islamic sects.
3. The student should be able to deduce the invalidity of the doctrines of deviant sects.
4. To use modern technology to access knowledge, conduct scientific research, and benefit from it
