Course Description: * Introduction to the concept of religion and its development, and the study of religious sciences. * Part One: Abrahamic Religions (Judaism and Christianity). * Part Two: Living Eastern Religions in India, China, and Japan.
Credit hours: 4
Objectives of the course :

Introducing students to Abrahamic and Eastern religions historically, theologically, and in practice. Developing critical thinking skills, and a spirit of dialogue and discussion with followers of other religions.

Course outputs :

Knowledge and understanding:
1- To become familiar with the history of living religions.
2- To know the correct scientific methodology for critiquing religions.
3. To describe the doctrinal deviations in distorted religions.
Skills:
To deduce the effects of alteration in religions.
2. To deduce the difference between Islam and other religions.

4. To use modern technology to access knowledge, conduct scientific research, and benefit from it
