Objectives of the course :

Defining student alienation and its causes, studying the Kharijites and Shiites and important sects related to them, manifestations of deviations in them, and the position of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah towards them.

Knowledge and understanding:
1. To know the origin of the schism and its causes.
2. To understand the concept and history of the Kharijite and Shi'a sects and their divergent branches.
3. The student should be able to distinguish between Sunni Muslims and Islamic sects, and the differences between them.

Students will be able to infer the negative consequences of disunity and disagreement.
