Course Description: This course examines extremist ideologies and provides scientific responses to them.

Objectives of the course :

1- Identifying the most prominent contemporary suspicions from extremist currents concerning the fundamentals of creed, and how to respond to them.
2- Recognizing the implications of these suspicions, such as bloodshed and disruption of social order.
3. Inferring errors in reasoning and comprehension of religious texts by extremist and radical currents.
4. Understanding the concept of terrorism, its contemporary examples, and Islam's stance on it.
5. Understanding the concept of freedom and its related rulings.
6. Knowing the scientific answers to historical facts and religious rulings concerning contemporary extremist doubts.

Course outputs :

Knowledge and understanding:
1. To recognize the doubts of extremism in the issues of Imamate, excommunication, and jihad, and their answers in light of the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah.
2- To know the terms: guardian, allegiance, terrorism, and freedom.
To describe the manifestations of extremism among groups of violence in takfir, jihad, and Imamate.
