Course Description: Understanding the doctrine of divine decree and destiny and its related matters within the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah.
Credit hours: 3
Prerequisites: AGDH254
Objectives of the course :

– Clarifying the reality of belief in divine decree and its levels, the doctrine of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah regarding destiny and divine decree, and manifestations of deviation in this regard.
- Understanding matters of faith according to the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah, and manifestations of deviation in that.
– Knowledge of issues related to a perpetrator of major sins, atonement according to the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah, and manifestations of deviation in that.
– Knowledge of issues related to the Companions, the Ahl al-Bayt, and the Rightly Guided Caliphs, as well as issues related to the Great Imamate and the rights of those in authority, according to the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah, and manifestations of deviation therein.
- Understanding issues related to the community, its necessity, and the importance of adhering to it, and the prohibition and danger of division, as well as issues related to leadership, its conditions, ranks, and benefits.

1. For the student to become acquainted with the correct creed and the manifestations of deviation in matters of divine decree and destiny, issues related to faith, the grave sinner, issues of disbelief and excommunication, issues concerning the companions and the Prophet's household, the supreme caliphate, and the rights of the ruler.
2- The student should gain a thorough understanding of each chapter of creed.
