Advanced Accounting Information Systems

Course Description: This course aims to develop students' knowledge in the field of using information systems in accounting and focuses on explaining the design and documentation techniques used in the development of accounting information systems. It also discusses concepts related to relational databases and explains how to design and implement them through practical models such as the Entity-Relationship model. It shows how to control them and discusses the impact of the emergence of blockchain on accounting information systems, as well as discussing cybersecurity issues in this field. It also aims to promote teamwork values and professional ethics. It develops critical thinking skills and information technology in the field of accounting information systems.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Understand the concept of accounting information systems and their components and functions.
