Advanced financial statement analysis

Course Description: The main objective of this course is to develop the student's ability to use financial statements to make investment, financing, and managerial decisions. Specifically, this course will focus on: (1) assessing the economics of an entity in terms of sector characteristics, competitive strategy, past performance, risks, and the quality of accounting information. (2) estimating future performance that leads to estimating the fair or intrinsic value of a company's stock using different valuation models.
