Advanced Managerial Accounting

Course Description: This course covers the development of analytical, evaluative, and interpretive skills related to the fundamental concepts of management accounting, financial information, and problem-solving methods in the field of management accounting. Management accounting plays a key role in supporting financial decision-makers within an organization, strategic costing methods, planning, control, the balanced scorecard, and the evaluation of different business units. This course also addresses enhancing oral communication skills in management accounting and equipping students with the ability to effectively use technology in related applications.

Objectives of the course :

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Knows the basic concepts in the field of managerial accounting.
– Identifies and describes the information required for preparing reports used in the cost system process to aid in decision-making.

– Defines the concepts and calculations required for activity-based costing systems.
