Advanced Endodontics Clinic (3)

Course Description: This course is presented in the clinical practice of endodontic treatment in the endodontic postgraduate clinic. Students will gain comprehensive clinical experience in all aspects of endodontic treatment. Treatment procedures will be performed using the surgical microscope and the latest specialized endodontic instruments, materials, and devices. The course will focus on diagnosis, including: chief complaint, examination, etiology, and case study, as well as endodontic treatment planning and multidisciplinary planning, clinical photography documentation, follow-up, and post-treatment outcome documentation.

Objectives of the course :

This advanced course in clinical endodontic practice will be presented in the endodontic graduate clinic. Students will gain comprehensive clinical experience in all aspects of endodontic treatment.

Course outputs :

Applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with accurate assessment of various dental root canal treatment issues and complications
Conduct appropriate medical, clinical, and radiological assessments, develop a suitable diagnostic and treatment plan according to patient needs and preferences, and evaluate treatment outcomes through follow-up strategies.
Implementing research methods and demonstrating the skills needed to access scientific resources, critical analysis, conducting evaluations of scientific literature, and applying the best available evidence alongside clinical judgment to manage patients.
Use appropriate communication skills with the patient and their companions, and establish sound scientific communication with the dental team and healthcare specialists to achieve effective outcomes.
